How do I make changes to a published certification profile in HubSpot?

Published certification profiles can be updated from HubSpot, but only for the profile fields that are available and intended for editing in the CRM. Some fields must not be amended directly because they control website publishing, profile routing, award information, or generated content.

  • Image updates for published certification profiles

What can be changed in HubSpot

Users may update profile fields that are available for editing in HubSpot CRM, as long as the field is part of the approved certification profile update process.

Fields that should not be amended directly

Do not amend the following fields in HubSpot:

  • WordPress ID
  • Profile URL
  • Awards won
  • Top statements

If a change is needed for one of these fields, follow the request process below instead of editing the field directly.

How to update certification profile images

  1. Prepare the image files.
    • Convert each image to WebP format before uploading or updating it.
    • You can convert images using AI tools or any online image conversion tool.
  2. Name the image files in display order.
    • Add a numeric number at the end of each file name.
    • Example:
      • company_name_1.webp
      • company_name_2.webp
      • company_name_3.webp
    • The number determines the order that the photos appear on the certification profile page.
  3. Update the image fields in HubSpot.
    • Add or replace the images in the relevant certification profile image fields.
  4. Mark the image update as ready.
    • Once the image changes are complete, set Image posted to Yes.

When to submit an internal request form

Submit an internal request form if you need to:

  • Change the Profile URL
  • Hide the barometer statement

These changes should not be handled by directly editing fields in HubSpot.

Important rules

  • Only change profile fields that are available and approved for editing in HubSpot CRM.
  • Do not amend WordPress ID, Profile URL, Awards won, or Top statements directly.
  • Image files must be in WebP format.
  • Image file names must include a numeric suffix to control the display order.
  • Set Image posted to Yes after the image changes are completed.
