What do we need to create and publish for GO projects by country?
Country-by-country requirements for GO trackers, survey tickets, certification profiles, and list consideration
GO = Globally Organised projects — multi-country projects led by another licensee across the GPTW network
Purpose
This SOP defines the minimum requirements and obligations for handling GO projects for Great Place to Work ASEAN/ANZ, including:
- Which countries fall under our licensee (as of 1 Jan 2025)
- What must be created/maintained in our systems (GO tracker, survey tickets)
- Our obligations for certification profile publishing and list consideration
- Special handling for Fortune list data collection in unlicensed countries
Scope
Applies to all GO projects that include countries within:
- GPTW ASEAN/ANZ licensee countries (listed below), and/or
- Fortune list required countries that we support for ranking calculations
Key definitions
- Licensee country (ASEAN/ANZ territory): A country under the GPTW ASEAN/ANZ licensee. GO projects certified in these countries carry obligations for profile publishing and list consideration.
- Lead licensee: The licensee with the direct client relationship for the GO project. For our license territories, ASEAN/ANZ is paid a GO fee by the lead licensee.
- Unlicensed territories: An “Unlicensed Territory” is a country or territory that is not included in the territory of any GPTW licensee.
- GO tracker: The tracker record for the GO project. For ASEAN/ANZ territory, it must be created.
- Survey ticket: The country-level survey record associated with each country survey.

No action required for all other unlicensed territories or countries outside of our ASEAN/ANZ territory
Operational requirements (rules)
A) GO projects in ASEAN/ANZ license territories
For any GO project that includes a country in our license territories:
- GO tracker must be created.
- Survey ticket will be created automatically for each country survey.
- If the company is certified in our license territories, we are obligated to publish their certification profile.
- If the company is list-eligible, we must consider them for applicable lists.
- We should expect a GO fee payable to ASEAN/ANZ from the lead licensee.
B) Fortune list data collection (including unlicensed countries)
Certain countries are not in our license territories but are required for Fortune list ranking calculation.
- Unlicensed Fortune-only countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Laos
- Also included in Fortune data set (and already within our license territories): Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam
For Brunei, Cambodia, and Laos:
- No GO tracker entry is required.
- Survey ticket must be created manually so the data can be considered for Fortune list ranking.
- No certification profile publishing obligation for ASEAN/ANZ.
- Must be considered for Fortune list (as applicable to the ranking calculation).
